‘Trump, America a Ni’ explores the political divide in America and how it’s ripple effect can be felt across the world

We are delighted to share that our current affairs documentary ‘Trump, America a Ni’ aired on Welsh broadcaster S4C and BBC iPlayer on Monday, 26 October at 9pm.

America - the land of promise, the land of the dream. But with the country's political and social divide deepening, is the American dream now forgotten? In ‘Trump, America a Ni’, we follow our presenters Maxine Hughes and Jason Edwards on their journey across the states where the two will discover more than expected about the left and right sides of the political divide.

On November 3, 2020, the people of America will cast their vote in one of the most important elections of their lives and one that will impact both sides of the Atlantic. Will we see another four years of President Trump, or will Biden sit in the White House this winter? With the election fast approaching, Maxine and Jason travel across America to give us unprecedented access to Americans on both sides of the divide.

In a divided country where left and right are not prepared to negotiate with each other, Maxine and Jason listen to both sides - from armed right-wing militias to Black Lives Matter activists. ‘Trump, America a Ni’ aired on S4C and BBC iPlayer.
